I am excited to be participating in MomDot’s Birthday Bash – 31 Bloggers in 31 days. Each day in May, MomDot is bringing you a different giveaway in celebration of my friend Trisha’s 31st birthday. Happy Birthday Trisha! My birthday is also in May (the 24th) and I have to say I am enjoying an early birthday present, a gorgeous turquoise beaded necklace from Abella Galleries, my fabulous sponsor for this event. Abella Galleries creates vibrant turquoise and white stone beaded jewelry designs.

abellanecklace1 My necklace is the Blue Meadow Oval and let me say that it is absolutely gorgeous! The green turquoise beads are exquisite and give just the right amount of color to whatever outfit you are wearing. I have the 33 inch version of this necklace which I love because of the versatility. You can either wear it long or double it as shown in this photo. I also like the size of the beads. They are the perfect size and make this piece wearable for any occasion.

During her travels, she happened to discover a small jewelry booth covered from floor to ceiling with gorgeous, vibrantly colored blue turquoise bead necklaces. Elizabeth immediately fell in love with the beautiful beads and decided that she had to share them with others and started her online jewelry shop.

Turquoise is one of my favorite natural stones and I love, love the Aegean Barrel Turquoise Necklace in the Long 31 inch length. You can wear it long, or double it up around your neck, or even wrap it around your wrist several times for a dramatic bracelet! Wow, so very versatile and gorgeous!
