Jewelry Designer allows girls to design a variety of jewelry pieces using a range of beautiful colored beads and charms. Using the stylus, girls can create earrings, necklaces, bracelets, cell-phone charms and bookmarks. Players can upload their unique in-game creations on UbiWorld, Ubisoft’s online destination site that is integrated with Style Lab Jewelry Design’s game functionalities. Using the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection, girls can upload their created necklaces, earrings and bracelets inside the Style Lab Jewelry Design Boutique. Once the final design is uploaded, players have the option to purchase their own creation through ArtBeads where the actual piece will be delivered to their home and can be worn in real life.  Style Lab Jewelry Design is rated E for Everyone and has an MSRP of $29.99. 

I like how Jewelry Designer has an interactive feature which allows you to purchase the designs that your child creates using the game. This is definitely something unique from your normal DS games. Jewelry Designer would perfect gift if your daughter is creative like mine.  If you see The Little Write Gal don’t tell her this will be waiting  for her under the tree.  She does read her Mommy’s blog so hopefully I can keep her from reading it until after Christmas.

The Little Write Gal and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, especially the adorable dogs who are the hotel “guests”.  Our dog Ashes loved it too and kept barking all through it.   He loved his cute dog toy which arrived with our copy of the DVD.

Here is the idea behind the challenge:

We are challenging mothers and their kids with the notion of choosing water over soda. Most parents believe that if given a choice, kids will pick soda. WAT-AAH! however, thinks the opposite. Mothers who participate in “The WAT-AAH! Challenge” will receive WAT-AAH! samples with instructions to put the bottled water in the fridge, NEXT TO THE SODAS. Mothers/fathers will be asked to write, photograph or videotape their kids’ responses and reactions to WAT-AAH! And if in fact they are drinking more water!
